In 2001, my family and I went on our first sabbatical from Intel (8 weeks of paid leave). In 2010, we took our second sabbatical and visited the East Coast states. It was wonderful to be on the same sites our Founding Father's sweat blood and tears to write our beloved Declaration of Independence and The Unites States Constitution. It was absolutely wonderful and gives me a goal to shoot for when I retire-- having enough $$$ to do what you want, when you want-- including doing nothing! I day-dream at work about what I'll do on the 4th sabbatical-- which will be in 2023! Yea!

My wife Jennifer used to work for Intel as an Environmental Engineer at Fab 7, 9 and 11 and then Fab 12 in the Site Materials and Services (SMS) Department. {She worked in the Ultra-pure Water (UPW) Plant and in the Waste Water Treatment Plant}. She has since quit work in order to stay home as a full-time mom with our four children. She keeps busy now as a teacher, taxi driver, snack provider, nurse, and is active in educating our Arizona legislature and Congressmen on "The Proper Role of Government" especially over education. She is the founder of Arizonans Against Common Core.

Jennifer created the  "Preparedness" Group in 2008! She no longer offers classes through this group but all content on this website is free to use to prepare your local communities. We look around in our community today and see many of our friends and neighbors who are struggling due to loss of employment, homes in foreclosure and personal debt. We listen to the news and hear of more bankrupt companies and bailouts. What is a person to do in these troubled times? I'm often referred to as "Chicken Little" among my friends and associates. So from his wisdom I would like to share this with you: "One day, while Chicken Little was walking in the woods, an acorn fell and hit him on his head. 'Goodness gracious me!' said Chicken Little, 'The sky is falling, the sky is falling. I must go warn everyone.'" My goal in starting up this Preparedness group is to "warn others" and to help people prepare for harder times by becoming more "self-reliant."  So the logo for the "Preparedness" Group has "The Prophets" on Chicken Little's right side guiding him along the way and "Food Storage" on his left side which is what our prophets have counseled us to store.

Jennifer has helped administer the "AZ Sound Money" website as well. In 1971, the United States officially broke the last remaining link between the dollar and gold. Since then the dollar has existed as a fully fiat currency whose supply has been expanded at a continually increasing rate. Why should this be of concern to the average person?
